027: Another Leaving
I went to see Jack yesterday at the restaurant but he had gone. He must have had some warning because he'd left me a note and food boxed up for me and a great deal of money. He said it was for me and my house.
Logan? With Tony gone, too, I hoped maybe you'd know how much money I still owed people for my house. Tony said he'd keep track of it all, but I thought maybe you'd know. I have bunches and bunches of it from Jack and I want to pay for everything I can with it.
I'm not as sad as I was the other day, but I don't like all the fighting at that new place. It scares me a lot.
Maybe I should find someone else to teach me some self-defense if all this craziness is going to go on. Mr. Winchester was going to do that in exchange for me cooking for him sometimes. Anyone else who might be willing to do that?

Re: [Voice]
Oh yes! That would be wonderful! It would be easier, I think, to learn with someone. Then you'd have another to practice with, too!

Having a friend makes most things easier, and it would certainly help to have a regular partner for practice. What sort of self-defense were you considering? I'm not terribly familiar with any type of fighting, and the variety I've heard mentioned here is much greater than we had in my whorl.
Re: [Voice]
I don't really know much about it, but Mr. Winchester said he could teach me. He just left before he got a chance.

I'm afraid I didn't know Mr. Winchester, so I haven't any clue as to what he planned to teach you. I suppose we shall have to see who would be willing to take us on as students, first of all.
Re: [Voice]
I don't know either so I guess we will. Or we can always get books from the library and try and teach ourselves up on the roof! That would be funny!
