Thank you again so much for taking me flying. I dreamed about it last night, dancing over the water, low enough to feel the spray, and I woke up ever so happy. I found a helmet and better clothes so I will be all set for another flight sometime.

I wish I could do something for you in exchange. I'd offer to cook a meal for you, but, well, that would require a place to cook and a make-shift lean-to in the woods wouldn't exactly work so well. I'll think of something, though!

Dear Iron Man,

Anyone who lives on the streets knows that there are bad men everywhere. It's why the streets are so dangerous. But they don't just stay on the street. They come into people's houses. To steal things and hurt people.

I know nobody's after me or anything probably, but when I'm somewhere closed off alone I get too scared and I need the stars.

I have a blanket. I bring it with me everywhere I go in my backpack with everything else I own. 'Cept the flying things. I tucked those away in the library 'cause they wouldn't all fit.

I've never lived in a place on my own. Mostly growing up I slept on the streets with the other kids or in my dad's car or in a shelter. It would be scary inside alone, don't you think?

I guess I can. It wouldn't be fair to go to a shelter, 'cause I have money now from my job. But when I think about being cooped up in a big place like an apartment all by myself my heart starts to race and I get all panicky.
