089: Ponderings

I just...

I sort of told someone...

I kind of...

... said I felt beautiful.

That's so... so very new to me.

It sort of feels wrong, but at the same time... I did. I felt kind of beautiful and important and special.

I don't quite know what to do with that.

It's still a compliment, in other words. He's quite fond of you.

Both, actually, but I was referring to Chuck in this case.

[identity profile] lady-wandering.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
He was quite worried the day we fixed your memories.

[identity profile] livingmyths.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
I feel so bad about worrying everyone.

[identity profile] lady-wandering.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Don't feel bad, Rain, it certainly wasn't your fault.

It's my brain and my crazy.

[identity profile] lady-wandering.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
And my mistake in stirring it up in the first place.

[identity profile] livingmyths.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
'Mana, I wanted you to help me stir things up.

[identity profile] lady-wandering.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
Be that as it may, it was still my involvement that expedited the process.

...and why are you still calling me "'Mana"?

[identity profile] livingmyths.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
I... I don't know. I'm sorry, Romana. I guess it just slipped out.

[identity profile] lady-wandering.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
No that's...alright...I suppose. Humans do tend to shorten things like names. No need to apologize.

[identity profile] lady-wandering.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
It's alright, really, I didn't mean to sound harsh. It was just...unexpected.

It's actually...somewhat endearing, like "Fred". I rather liked the name Fred.

[identity profile] livingmyths.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Fred?

Okay. I... kind of like 'Mana. It sounds warm and welcoming.

[identity profile] lady-wandering.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Mmm-hmmm. When the Doctor shortened my my name he told me I couldn't go by Fred, so he chose Romana.

Then you may use it if you wish.

[identity profile] livingmyths.livejournal.com 2009-05-14 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, then... maybe I will.
