070: [Accidental Video Post]
Rain is sitting curled up on a rock deep, deep in the woods, very far from her own home. Her backpack is beside her, her batteries held tightly in one hand, as she stares off into the trees. If one were to listen carefully, you could probably hear the low whisper of a chant.

Re: Action
And wished, not for the first time, that things could be different. That she could be different.
Re: Action
Tony also wished that things could be different. He wished that he could help Rain see how she special she was.
"Will you do something for me?" he asked.
Re: Action
This was Tony. If he wanted her to do something she'd try to do it even if it made her miserable.
Re: Action
"I like feeling you in there," he said. "I feel... better when you're in there."
Re: Action
Re: Action
"Sometimes I can tell when you're focusing a bit more than usual," he explained. "It's nice. It makes me feel closer to you and I like that."
Re: Action
It made her feel better, too, being close to his mind. Like at the carnival when she'd kind of sheltered a little on the edges of it to keep from being overwhelmed by all the people.
So very carefully she slid into his mind, listening to his thoughts, wondering what she'd see and feel there.
Re: Action
Tony's mind was a very busy place, as he was constantly connected to so many different computers and devices at once. Forefront in his mind at the moment was his concern for Rain, how much he cared for her, and how important she was to him.
Carefully controlled there was also a small big of anger at whoever made her hurt like this. Mixed in there also were his slightly uncertain feelings regarding Romana.
Re: Action
The thoughts about Romana hurt a little, but she'd known it wouldn't be long before he found someone else and Rain knew it would never be her.
The anger... "It's not their fault," she said softly. "It isn't."
Re: Action
"I'm trying hard to believe that," Tony replied back, just as softly. "But you're the most important person in my life and it makes me angry that someone hurt you this much. Even if it wasn't their fault."
Re: Action
"I hurt me," she told him. "because I get all upset and confused about everything."
Re: Action
"We might just have to agree to disagree about that," he finally said.
