Of course we can fly!

Not much later, Tony is landing just outside of her house. How old is Rain, maybe 4 years old?

"Rain?" he called out. "Are you there?"

"Rain!" he shouted, picking her up as she ran at him and tossing her high into the air before catching her.

"It's very good to see you."

"Let's see if you remember," he said, hugging her back carefully. "How old are you?"

"You are, good job!" he exclaimed, spinning her around. "Now where do you want to go today?"

"Flying three times?" he said. "Not just once but three times? And what animals and birds should we see today?"

Tony got quiet the moment she told him to and looked to where she was pointing. The suit had registered the heat signature of the rabbit but had dismissed it off hand as not important. It was amazing what Rain could sense.

"How did you know that was there?" he whispered.

"You are a very special girl to be able to hear that," he told her as he lifted her up and set her on his shoulders.

"Are you ready to go flying, flying, flying?"

Tony slowly began to rise up off the ground as he held on tight to Rain.

"That makes sense. Do you think you could sense me when I came near because you love me so much?" he asked.

"How do you know it's not because I love you lots and lots?" Tony asked, lifting her off of his shoulders to look her in the eyes as he moved over the City. "And how am I supposed to sneak up on you and tickle you if you always know when I'm coming?"

"How can you be sure?" he said, smiling as he tickled her side. "You're my best friend in the City, I love you a lot."

Tony laughed and held her close as he began to fly over the zoo, dipping a bit lower.

"Maybe some day we can fly all the way to the moon and back," he told her.

Even as tiny as she was, he expression was the same as older Rain, one the seemed to looked right through him.

"When you grow up to be big I'm going to be all old and wrinkled," he told her.

"Yes," he said with a laugh. "But you don't want to marry your grandmother, do you?"

Tony just laughed and kissed her on the cheek.

"Well I guess you'll have to marry me," he said. "Because no one else is like me."

Tony just laughed and nodded. It was odd how similar young Rain was to her older self, just more willing to give in to her feelings.

"Of course we are," he assured her. "We'll go over the zoo so you can wave to all the animals."
